Frequently Asked Questions

What is non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)?
NEMT is transportation for people who need help getting to and from medical appointments but don't require an ambulance or emergency care.
Do you accept Medicaid or insurance?
Coverage varies by plan. Call our dispatch team with your insurance information and we'll confirm whether your ride is covered before you book.
How far in advance do I need to book a ride?
We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance when possible. For urgent needs, call us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Can a family member or caregiver ride along?
Yes, in most cases one companion can ride along at no extra charge. Let us know when you book so we can plan for the extra seat.
What's the difference between ambulatory and stretcher transport?
Ambulatory transport is for riders who can walk or move with minimal assistance. Stretcher transport is for riders who must remain lying down during the trip.
